I can see the timer but when I hit the spacebar nothing happens.
You need to first click on the timer panel to activate it. Once you do that, hitting the spacebar will start and stop the timer.
Do I need to maintain a connection to the internet in order to use the timer?
No. Once the timer has loaded into memory you should be able to time contractions for as long as you wish. Once you close the browser window you will need an internet connection to reload the program.
I don't own a laptop and using the timer from my desktop PC is impractical for me. Do you have a version of the timer that I can download onto my PocketPC or Palm device?
At this time we have not developed the timer for use on devices other than desktop PCs or laptops. This mat change in the future however if there's enough demand. Please email us with your request and let us know what devices you like us to support.
